Job Title: Elementary and Middle Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Moraga, CA
Job Type: Full-time, 30 hrs/wk
Description: A school in Madera, CA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will work with a diverse K-12th grade caseload of who have speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You must have experience with SEIS and will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapy to help clients enhance their communication and swallowing skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, establishing specific goals for each client
Stay informed about research and advancements in speech-language pathology through attendance at conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs
Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state of California (requirements include completion of a clinical fellowship and passing the national Praxis examination)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
